The wedding photos your guests took, all in one place.
Everyone at your wedding will be taking photos: the bridesmaids doing each other's hair at 8am, your uncle's face during the best man's speech. One QR code on the tables brings all of them back to you, full size.
A good photographer covers the moments you've planned. Your guests are standing everywhere else: in the getting-ready room while a cufflink goes missing, in the back row when you turn at the top of the aisle, at the kids' table, at the bar when the band starts. They take those photos anyway. Keepcove makes sure they reach you instead of sitting in a camera roll, alongside the professional album rather than instead of it.
Your evening guests were there too
Plenty of British weddings have a second wave of guests who arrive at half seven for the evening do. They missed the vows, but they were there for the first dance and the bacon rolls at eleven. Put a table card on the bar as well as the tables, and ask the DJ to read the one-line announcement when they arrive. They can scroll back through the ceremony photos on their own phones, too.
For the people who couldn't come
There's always someone who can't be there: the grandparent who can't travel, the cousins in Australia, the friend who's just had a baby. Send them the private link and they can watch the gallery fill up during the day, then come back to it the next morning. The link is private and unguessable, and the gallery is never listed on Google, so only people who have the link can find it.
Full size, with the real date on it
The wedding WhatsApp group gets the forwards, which by default are shrunk and stripped of the date they were taken. The disposable cameras on the tables come back from the lab weeks later, full of pictures of the centrepiece. Keepcove keeps each photo and video exactly as the phone saved it, so when you download, you get the original file, with the real date, and can put the whole day back in order from the first coffee to the taxi home.
Step by step
Where the QR code goes, and when to mention it
1
With the final details, a few weeks before
Copy the ready-made invite text onto your wedding website, or into the message with the timings and the venue address. One line saying there's no app to download saves a lot of explaining on the day.
2
On the order of service, if the ceremony's unplugged
Asking for phones away during the vows? Print the QR on the back of the order of service. People read it while they wait for you to walk in, then scan it at the drinks reception once the phones come back out.
3
By the table plan, then on every table
Everyone crowds round the table plan during the drinks reception, so that's where the A5 sign goes. Then an A6 card on each table for the meal, and one on the bar for the evening. If the venue has a screen, connect a laptop to it and open the photo wall: the newest photos come up as they're taken, with your QR in the corner.
4
After the speeches, and the morning after
Ask the best man or the toastmaster to read the short MC line once the speeches are done. On Sunday morning, send the reminder message to the guests' group chat, because plenty of people only open their camera roll on the drive home. When the photos stop coming in, select the lot and download the originals.
Stupidly simple
One QR code. That's the whole setup.
Print the table card or put the code up on a screen. Guests point their phone camera at it and the upload page opens in the browser, so there's nothing to install and nobody has to sign up. Every photo and video lands in one gallery, exactly as the phone saved it.
It doesn't get in their way. Your photographer still does the portraits, the ceremony and the edited album; Keepcove only collects what guests were going to take on their phones anyway. If you'd rather nobody stepped into the aisle with a phone, ask for an unplugged ceremony and put the QR on the order of service instead.
Does it work for an engagement party?
It's what we built it for. Our own engagement had 100 guests, one QR code and 291 photos and videos. Give the engagement party its own gallery, so it doesn't eat into the wedding's room for 3,000.
We're having a mehndi, the wedding and a reception. One gallery or three?
If they're on different days, three is usually easiest: each gallery is £39, with its own QR code and room for 3,000 photos and videos. A ceremony and reception on the same day belong in one gallery, so there's no paying twice for one day. The hen and stag do can have their own as well, which is probably wise.
Do we pay extra for evening guests?
No. Guests are unlimited on one link, so the day guests, the evening guests and whoever turns up for the last hour all use the same QR code. The gallery is £39 once, and your first 10 photos and videos go in free before you pay. A year online is included from the day you pay; after 12 months it renews automatically at £14.99 a year unless you cancel. If you cancel, it stays up to the end of the paid year, so download the originals before then. Guests never pay a penny.
Your guests will photograph your wedding either way.
Make sure the photos come to you. Setting up takes about two minutes and costs nothing; print the cards when you do the table plan, and only pay when you're ready to go live.
